InfoAbout Mark

Mark was born in 1963 and educated at Charterhouse, in Surrey, before starting a career in the City of London. Specialising in the stock markets of South East Asia as well as other global emerging markets, he worked for a number of international investment banks and stockbrokers before starting his own small fund management business in 1999, which he now runs from his home in Gloucestershire.

An enthusiast of country pursuits, Mark also finds time to follow his interests of historic motorcars and aeroplanes, target rifle shooting and photography.

Mark is married to Caroline and they have two small children, Edward and Jemima.

Mark's Experience

Mark is a councillor on the Forest of Dean District Council and is proud to have been part of the team that gave the Forest of Dean the fourth biggest Conservative gain in the 2003 local elections. He has since used his skills to bring council tax increases under control at district level as well as serving as an officer on the Forest of Dean Association.

Conservatives - Working for Wyre Forest

Conservatives in Wyre Forest place economic regeneration as their top priority, through enhanced communication links and providing a business friendly environment.

Conservatives on the District Council see controlling council tax rises at affordable levels a key priority and they aim to achieve this through finding efficiencies in the running of the council whilst still providing a better environment for the residents of the district.

Wyre Forest Conservatives will continue to support the restoration of Accident and Emergency facilities at Kidderminster Hospital.
