Info | Just learned of the death of Isadore "Izzy" Einhorn on 11 March 2002 in Philadelphia. Izzy was a pioneer of Navy civilial personnel. He started at the Navy Yard in Philly in 1935 as a Cu-1 messenger with a salary of $600 a year. He retired 38 years later as a GS-15 CPO. He Served at ASO Philly for many years and finished with a bang at Defense Attache Office Saigon, Vietnam. Izzy would have been 85 this year.
