InfoRep. Bryan Stevenson, a Republican, represents parts of Jasper and Newton counties (District 128) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002.

In addition his legislative duties, Rep. Stevenson is an attorney in private practice with Stevenson Law Office PC. He has been a practicing attorney since 1999 working in various law firms throughout the country, and also working as an intern in 1998 for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson in Washington, D.C., preparing and reviewing legislation.

Rep. Stevenson is a member of the Joplin Rotary Club, Joplin and Webb City Chambers of Commerce and the Jasper County Mental Health Tax Board. He was an adjunct professor at Missouri Southern State College from 2000 to 2002 and served as staff minister for the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Ft. Worth, Texas, and as youth director for the First United Pentecostal Church of Euless, Texas.

A graduate of Apostolic Christian High School, Rep. Stevenson received an associate in applied science degree in aviation technology from Tarrant County Junior College in 1989 and graduated cum laude with a bachelor of applied arts and sciences from the University of North Texas in 1995. In addition to earning his juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center 1999, Rep. Stevenson received the Georgetown University Law Center Dean�s Certificate in recognition of special and outstanding service to the law center community as president of the Republican Legislative Student Association and Legal Society.

Born August 6, 1969, in Fort Worth, Texas, Rep. Stevenson has traveled extensively in the United States, Israel, Germany, Poland, Belgium and Kenya. He lives in Joplin with his wife Regina.
