Is it okay to add Census population estimates for cities, in addition to the official Census numbers every ten years?

Can anyone actively recall another state besides Arizona where an elected female has succeeded an elected female incumbent for governor?

If we thought the last two years were interesting, I somehow think the next two will be even more interesting

So with redistricting coming up, what states do everyone think would be the most difficult to gerrymander a handful of districts in one parties favor? Try not to answer California or New York or even Texas please, lol...

Ohio is a state where the Republicans will try to shore up the suburban seats in Columbus (CD 12) and Cincinnati (CD 1). The state is heavily gerrymandered already so I don't see how the GOP could grab an additional district.
Also you can expect a grand re-design of state legislative seats in Virginia.

This seems like a neat project. Not too much data, but those looking for precinct level data or precinct shape files might look here if you weren't already aware of it.

I feel exhausted, I had a quick break after my works daily zoom meeting so I went to the grocery store to get my shopping done. I came home to a bunch of texts from a group chat me and my buddies are in. It speaks volumes that I wasn't shocked just speechless. Now to get my work done lol.
