The video program below from 2013 gives an interesting perspective on Adlai Stevenson. It is a live broadcast that focuses on his two presidential campaigns. I give it a B+ because I think a chronological presentation would have condensed some duplication and would have opened time for a deeper discussion.

He was probably the smartest major party candidate for the office. But not the greatest politician and unlucky enough to run against a WWII war hero not too long after the war ended. Not a "hold your nose and vote" choice pair of elections.
