Bil Weidner was born and Raised on Long Island. His father William was an Insurance Executive and his mother Leslie was a Soprano with the Huntington Choral Society and taught singing privately. Bil graduated from Northport High School and went on to serve in the US Navy where he earned several accommodations an was honorably discharged after serving four years. Bil went on to the University of Maine at Orono to study in English, Music and ultimately receive a BS in Microbiology. Bil served as a Senator in the Maine Student Senate and served as Founder and President of the University Student Orchestra. After graduating, Bil was soon wed to his college girlfriend Lori and pursued a career in Pharmaceutical Sales initially with Bristol-Myers Squibb. Three years into his marriage, Lori was killed in a car accident. After 5 years of mourning, Bil remarried and had two children with his second wife Erika. The marriage lasted 11 years and Bil is currently single, living nearby his ex-wife Erika in order to continue co-parenting his children. Bil currently works locally for Bank Of America and has lived in Bath, Maine since 2014. With over 15 years in medical sales, Bil has worked closely with Maine physicians from Primary Care to Neurologists and Psychiatrists who prescribe medications. This work has given Bil great insight into the world of Healthcare delivery in Maine. Bil has always been a Republican like his parents before him, and Bil is pursuing office in order to continue to serve his community and state. Bil is solidly conservative on most fiscal and social issues, but is at the same time respectful of others whos opinions may differ from his own. We are all human beings trying to reduce the suffering life will dish out to each of us. We have come a long way in creating an amazing place to live here in America, and we need strong leaders to protect our way of life from both physical and ideological attacks both foreign and domestic.
