I'm afraid this district is likely gone for good for the Democrats. While the rest of Minnesota may have flirted with Trump before reverting back to their usual left-leaning tendencies, it looks like the iron range is doubling down.
The Democrats have a very real problem with rural and former industrial, working-class areas. They've spent the last two years obsessing over suburbs, and did well there. But they got crushed in Obama-Trump districts. They'll need to address this unless they're content just being a chronic minority.
