John Bel Edwards has a much better chance of winning because of incumbency and because Louisiana has a sizable African-American electorate.

Why can't election results in the United States be announced like that? That would be so fun.

John and Elizabeth Edwards split after a lot of drama.

Not that Black didn't overstep, but it's really rich that Trump would complain about someone invading his personal space considering his history.

While it's not ideal that Edwards signed that bill at least he is pro-Medicaid in a state that greatly needs it.

If sportswear is going to be the main attack that Republicans have then they are in real trouble in this race.

He did about as well as any Democrat would have been done in one of the most Republican (and evangelical) districts in California. A white Democrat running up and down the street screaming they loved Trump wouldn't have won either and would have actually done worse.

After the antics in NC-9, Republicans need to back off the false claims of fraud against Democrats.

A 1% lead in a traditionally Republican state is hardly a sign of a guaranteed win for McSally and there isn't much that should be drawn from just one poll anyway. Sinema is far from being out of this and is still in a very good position.

The idea that Campa-Najjar is should somehow be held responsible for what his dead grandfather did (who he never knew) is ludicrous. It's a Republican district but I think calling Campa-Najjar a terrorist will only make things worse for Republicans. Hunter is the one with the charges, not Campa-Najjar.

Somehow I don't think Oregon is going to flip in a Trump midterm.

Even fair redistricting is going to produce some districts that lean towards a party because geography often is more favor to one party in some areas. In the case of Utah there would be only one competitive congressional district, but how competitive it would be is based on how a majority of the commissioners interpreted geographical standards.

Her trump card (no pun intended) is that Bobby Bright voted for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker in 2009.

If anything O'Rourke can help boost turnout in House districts that Democrats are targeting so even if he doesn't win his presence on the ballot is still a plus for Democrats. That aside, Cruz does seem to be taking him seriously.

Republicans are most likely not picking up any seats that Clinton won.

It's not an illegal map. The legislature was given the opportunity to pass a compact map and they refused to do that so the court drew the map. A compact map was going to benefit Democrats in South East Pennsylvania simply for geographic reasons.
