Awaiting detailed results. But this pretty much means she locks up the nomination in my opinion. Flora is on the ballot through siggies. Harvey is done.
Sonnenberg and Holtorf are awaiting to see if they make the ballot through siggies.

Sounds like qualifications for office based on what the Constitution says are now out the window nowadays anyway.

I was fully disappointed when we wasn't sworn in wearing his signature Carhartt workshirt. Might be against Senate rules, but I'd love to see who'd try to stop him.

I wonder if Hurricane Ian will give Crist a boost, as awful as that sounds. DeSantis focused on basically trafficking humans as a political stunt instead of preparing for this hurricane.

Citation needed on his action being a play for some “pro-Castro” vote.

If only there was a chance for Dems to replace her with someone more representative of her party.....
Like a Latino Public Servant, or a South Asian US Representative, or even just a woman who is 47 years younger than her.....
If only....

Hikikomori Blitzkrieg!: Has Newman done anything likely to make her vulnerable? Because if not, it's difficult to see how Lipinski is going to prevail next year. 2022 is a GREAT year for conservatives...just not in the Democratic primary.*
*I'm not saying he's a "conservative", but will be likely be perceived as relatively being one, within a Democratic primary context.
Lipinski is a conservative

This was the first election in which I ever voted (having turned 18 just barely over 60 days prior).
I voted for Leo McCarthy.

Hikikomori Blitzkrieg!: Kristi Noem is going to walk into a re-election landslide next year (in 2022, that is) and will likely be a serious contender for the GOP Veep spot in 2024 (if Trump if the GOP nominee in 2024, I predict he will select her as his Veep). It's a little weird that she's even under consideration in this category.
Covid-19.

I saw a report that says Trump has jokingly said to GOP Senators that he'll move to Alabama to beat Sessions himself, and that he plans to support Roy Moore. He's also apparently doing this without the approval of McConnell who reportedly isn't thrilled about him running.

If Republicans came within 5.5 percentage points of picking off a safely Democratic governorship in an off-year election, there’d be ten Chris Cillizza thinkpieces titled “OMG, DNC: The Democrats’ Choice To Make To Avoid Losing EVERYTHING In 2020” and four essay posts from your Biden-supporting aunt about how many folks are saying Democrats should be wary of overreach.
