Probably win, considering McGrath lost in the 2nd easiest district to win in Kentucky on a Democratic swing year.

It's a political loser because it's easy to attack, plenty easy to spin 'x person supports all people rights' into 'x person supports bad people'. Human rights should never be removed by governments (voting for all adults is enshrined internationally within the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 21) and it's sad in my opinion that protection of every person's human rights can be considered a "losing stance".

It's also not like this would destroy our democracy either, some of the world's most functional democracies don't trample on the human right to vote, and are doing great. Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, etc.

Any restoration and protection of human rights and ability to cut down on government's authoritarian potential is a winner.

I also wholeheartedly agree with your points as well RP, and they also play in nicely with creating a more functional and free democracy.

This is just silly in my opinion, have one age of adulthood and stick to it. If you're allowed by law to vote in elections by age 18, able to fire a firearm by age 18, able to go to go to war by age 18, able to be trusted to drive a two ton chunk of metal down the roads by age 18, you should be able to be trusted with self-regulation of bodily functions. Just my view, anyway.

This seems like something Republicans and Democrats can behind, I hope atleast.
