Hello! Well, I lost 2 offices in the primary election in Vermont BUT I won 5 (yes, FIVE). I (Cris Ericson) am on the Nov. 3, 2020 official election ballot for the general election in the glorious State of Vermont for FIVE (5) offices for the PROGRESSIVE PARTY, a relatively NEW MAJOR PARTY in VERMONT.

So, to summarize, you can go to the Vermont Secretary of State Elections Division online and download the qualified candidate listing, and I am on it 5 (FIVE) times for Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Auditor of Accounts and Treasurer.
I am NOT (boo hoo hoo) on the ballot for Representative to United States Congress and I am NOT on the ballot for Governor of Vermont.
I COULD HAVE BEEN on the ballot for 7 offices as an independent candidate, but after emailing arguments back and forth, the Secretary of State refused to allow me on the ballot for BOTH independent and Progressive Party, so I had to chose, and I chose to be on the ballot for 5 offices for the Progressive Party.
Now, you may ask HOW did THAT HAPPEN?
This took a lot of thinking. I have 2 dogs, and one turned 17 years old in August. Meanwhile, on the Howie Carr Show on talk radio, Howie was in tears one day crying live on the radio because his dog Gooner died at age 18 1/2. I decided to give my little 13 pound poodle-chiwowa-long haired silky terrier the last days of her life in her home she's always lived in - also because the Veterinarian said her life expectancy is age 18. I struggled thinking, can I carry this little dog all over the HUGE U.S. Congress building if I win? Will I get too tired carrying her around? She does walk, but only so much each day. Then, there is my other dog, the poorly behaved growling, snarling "Daisy". After thinking, I decided to run as a Progressive Party candidate for just the 5 (five) statewide offices I won in the primary, and NOT SWITCH, as I could have, to Independent for the general election.
Well, no one ran against me in the primary election for 5 offices, only for two, and I lost those two (US Congress and Governor).
So, how many of you think I can win at least ONE of the FIVE offices I am on the general election ballot for?
