| Description |
Issue 1 would require Ohio courts, when setting bail for a defendant, to consider public safety, including the seriousness of the offense, the person’scriminal record, and how likely they are to return to court. It would also remove the requirement that bail procedures and amounts be determined by the Supreme Court of Ohio.
