Trudeau's a corporate shill in that he hasn't yet criminalized turning a profit, I reckon. Poilievre was pretty spot-on when he described the Trudeau Cabinet as Canada's first NDP government. They effectively abandoned the liberal centre long ago and that's a big part of why the Conservatives are polling in record territory.

Luzerne County Historian: It amuses me so much that people will call Trudeau a communist/socialist while the person to the left of him calls him a corporate shill.

We live in a world where BIDEN is called a Communist, literally anything to the Left of Hard Right Reactionaries is considered "cOmUnIsM". This Notion that Trudeau is anything beyond Liberal is ludacris....

Literally in the USA Kennedy was called a Communist, then got killed by one the DAY AFTER. Right Wingers don't understand Labels....

I don't see the NDP being rewarded with more votes than last time since they were the ones keeping Trudeau in power for 3 years. Canadians are very mad with the NDP for the deal that kept the Trudeau government alive, the reason Singh is doing this is because he wants a government pension for staying in office long enough to get it.

A made a prediction map on yapms.com and I see the Conservatives winning just enough seats for a majority government. There are some seats which the NDP hold currently that could go Conservative. But its the people in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area who determine who takes the cake.

Liberals may lose the government, but it'll be far from their worst defeat. 1958, 1984, 2008, 2011.

My prediction, the Liberals lose many seats and government, Conservatives win enough seats for a majority or fall a few short for majority, the NDP loses seats, the Bloc Quebecois gains a few seats.

For the People's Party, well those PPC voters are coming back home to the Conservatives. And the Greens, well they're just a duplicate replica of the Liberal and NDP parties combined.

Conservatives put forward third no confidence motion using Singh's exact criticisms of the government and the NDP still can't quit propping up dreamy Justin.

What do you expect from a man whose initials are PP?

Patrick: Pierre is about to blow this isn't he

When can we officially call this?

I wouldn't yet, both because it's not actually him blowing it as much as being the flak-catcher for something else and that the election is not being held in this particular moment where all the anti-Trump feeling has resulted in merely the possibility of retaining the status quo as a best-case scenario. The fundamentals of the race and nature of honeymoon bounces have not changed. Of course, for all we know Trump will maintain this on again/off again tariff uncertainty for two more months and the anger could linger, but that remains a very specific scenario outweighed in likelihood by alternatives that are less advantageous to the incumbent party.

Added the Caroline Mulroney endorsement. Notable because Doug Ford stated he wasn't going to endorse him and wanted no one in his cabinet to do it but he blessed her to do that move.

I've added the Harper endorsement. I should make note this is a rare public endorsement for anybody he didn't do this for Erin O'Toole or for Andrew Scheer.

Pierre Poilievre possibly had the biggest crowd of a political rally in Canadian history.
