| Description |
The only contested slot in the Democratic Primary was for a Queen Anne's County Delegate as the other candidates' home counties were not duplicated. At the time of this election, Robert E. Wilson and Frances Ashley were both from Queen Anne's County.
Maryland law states that if a legislative district consists of three or more counties, no more than one delegate from a county may be elected.
