| Description |
300-seat two-day election process completed in two-day run-off taking place on September 8-9, 2020. Voting was set by Egypt's National Elections Authority from 9am to 9pm (Al Qâhirah time) for both Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th. The first round (August 9-12) saw 174 of 200 seats decided in the Senate [Link] , leaving 26 seats to be determined in September's run-off. Of the 174 seats, 100 were won by the 11-party National Unified List, led by the Nation's Future Party (a/k/a, the Mostaqbal Watan Party) which took 59 of these seats.
