Description |
After spending millions of dollars to oust him in 2017, only to lose by 17 points republicans gave up on getting rid of Steve Sweeney.
Edward Durr, who has lost 2 elections in this district was the only republican to file against Steve Sweeney, the powerful President of the State Senate and critic of Governor Phil Murphy.
Despite Sweeney's critiques of the progressive Governor he is in the position for the biggest blow out of his political career that started when he was catapulted to Jersey fame when he ousted democrat turned republican Raymond Zane 20 years ago.
