Special election to fill the vacancy occasioned by the death of Auditor Dixon; his successor (and son) Benjamin F. Dixon Jr. did not run for re-election in the special election.
JQA Wood was nominated by the Republican state executive committee on 10/11/1910. The Socialist Party nominated a state ticket but did not offer a candidate for Auditor.
