Well if the Castro stories weren't enough, hopefully this counts her out:
?s=20

Also, this is from The Daily Caller. If there was any merit to this, I'm surprised they didn't hang on to this story. Just gives Biden a less likely chance of picking her.

EastTexasDem: Almost hoping at this point Biden picks someone whose name hasn't been put out there at all. Keep everyone debating who it's going to be and then...

Dick Cheney!

Progressive Scot: I was like Rice, Benghazi reminder really πŸ™Š

I've talked myself into wanting Rice, even with the Benghazi and un-masking BS that'll generate. Anyone who believes Rice is part of that larger conspiracy isn't persuadable, though, and she knows how the Federal Government should work so could be a good partner in putting it back together. Still think it'll be Harris, though.

Rice personally I'd pick as Secretary of State I think she would shine 🌟 or even another cabinet post.

But She doesn't seem like a political operator for something like VP or Congressional. Still I like her!

Bass has a thing for strange creepy groups..

Harris may not be perfect, but she's got the political savvy, tenacity and skill for the VP role. Plus a great deputy to help Biden push through reforms, even pass the torch too someday. My pick if I were Biden

Supposedly, it's down to Bass, Rice, Harris and Warren. [Link]

Duckworth or Raimondo are the best choices. But, since neither is African American, Biden will (mistakenly) pick Bass or Rice. Rice, especially, would be catastrophic.

Duckworth has a great record but she makes aot of blunders.

Raimondo Is good she did great fixing Rhode Islands Fiscal issues but the unions hate her big donor base.

Bass likes creepy cults πŸ˜’.

Rice seems great put her as Secretary of State or another cabinet position but as VP she doesn't seem like a political operator.

Harris or Warren I think are best bets.

Yeah, Demings' protection of police accused of excessive use of force makes her problematical this year.

I really don't care to get worked up no matter who he picks. VPs aren't that important.

Nice way to show some love to Michigan and boost Governor Whitmer's national profile. I don't think she'll be the running mate.

I think the Whitmer leak, the Rice sold Netflix shares leak, and the delays are all part of some Biden campaign strategy.

He really is shortening this campaign season in an already shortened and changed campaign during this Covid pandemic.

All this talk of different leaders keeps the Trump campaign guessing and less time to fine tune the attack that will happen immediately after the VP is named. Now, its at most one week of GOP attacks before we transition into convention week for the DNC.

Probably to keep people off the scent of who he is really going to pick and to build the excitement and anticipation.

Probably they met to talk about strategy Whitmer being a Democratic governor in a state that narrowly voted for Trump. They likely met to discuss how she could campaign for Biden in the state.
