I plan to switch (temporarily?) back to the GOP so I can vote in this primary despite the fact it is pretty much over.

...to vote for Hirsh Singh!

Actually all jokes aside, what are the odds Ciattrelli chooses Singh for Lt. Gov? The geography and demographics seem to support that...or maybe he needs to choose a woman.

Haha! He would certainly be an interesting choice, but it won't happen. He needs to chose an insider. Singh would be a somewhat useless Lt. Gov. there are plenty of other minority/female candidates for Lt. Gov. that would calm the ultra conservatives.

He could/should chose from:

Diane Allen who is much more moderate compared Ciattarelli would be a great contrast, by making him seem more conservative to the entire electorate, making conservatives calm, and dems/independents see a pro-choice, pro-gun control republican from an ultra blue district at his hip. She also comes from Burlington County, which isn't necessary to win but he needs good margins.

Kristin Corrado who is friendly with republican and democrat leadership in the state senate and she is quite conservative, but she has little name recognition.

Holly Schepisi would essentially have the same effect on the electorate, but she could help him carry Bergen County, which may be more necessary than narrowly winning Burlington County.

Dawn Fantasia is known by conservative activists across the state as a rising star. While she is a little to flashy (and maybe even elite) for a Sussex County politician, she could become a mini super star in new Jersey.

I put Michael Arnone instead of Tom Arnone endorsing Ciattarelli could someone fix that.
