Yeah, I would think Dane Eagle would be the favorite.

What a crazy race if someone with "only" $335k in their campaign coffers wins the races.

the top candidates will get on their yachts and sail around the beaches to do election day GOTV sorta like soundtrucks (if any of you lived in an area where somebody would drive around and hype candidates.. also the promotion method used in the Blues Brothers)

@GeorgiaBoi, we don't typically pick winners until the election is called by a major news outlet. It does not look like that has happened yet.

Congratulations to Askar to Dr. Fig. Both raised and spent over 7 figures to lose. Fortunately it was probably their own money. I think they call this redistribution of wealth.

I didn’t have a horse in this race, but super happy Donalds won. That disgusting, fraudulent text sent to all district 19 residents falsely claiming he dropped out today made me feel so sorry for him. I’m glad he seems to have pulled it off anyways and I hope whoever’s campaign was behind that is held accountable.

It's possible that text gave him a boost. Maybe not, but could have caused a backlash.

Completely agree. I think people root for those who get played really dirty like that. Likely was consultants more than the candidate themself, but still think they should be held accountable. If that isn’t illegal already, it should be something legislators look into.

Glad he won, although have to admit I didn't think he would make it past the millions of Fig and Askar. He will be a great member of Congress, and an exciting part of the next generation of Republican leaders.

I called this this race cause I’m pretty sure Donalds is going to win with 98% in Nowadays, the 98% isn't a good gauge because there are a lot of late-arriving and provisional ballots that aren't figured into the precincts reporting number.

I will say even though it hasn’t been called Eagle endorsed Donalds at a unity breakfast this morning.
