For anyone interested, the context behind the SPUSA endorsement here is that Kuehnel is apparently a member of the Socialist Party, and also helps run the Libertarian Socialist Caucus in the Libertarian Party (which I thought was an artful troll when I first heard about it, and honestly am still not convinced that it isn't). Somewhat of an amusing situation either way, though.

Indeed. Socialist Libertarian seems like an oxymoron. But there are Libertarians that are socialists and don’t believe in state ownership of a socialized economy. Rather they are believers of a decentralized socialist economy run by workers councils.
Noam Chomsky has been identified as a libertarian socialist as he written against the authoritarian aspects of socialist societies and advocating for an syndicalist society which would empower workers decision making over centralized government bureacrats.

Kuehnel makes for good comic relief but I'm glad he and the LibSoc group are around. It reminds that there are such thing as left-libertarians, and it doesn't mean regular libertarians who just care more about social issues. Plus, they really piss off the ancaps and that's music to my ears.

Benjamin Dryke in MI-36 is also LibSoc caucus, and James Weeks (the stripper) is at least friendly with the caucus and IIRC is running for local office. Not sure off the top of my head if they are running anybody outside of Michigan this cycle.

They are a small enough force I don't think it operates outside of online and national conventions. They were definitely visible at the latter. If there is a functioning LibSoc org in any county orgs I imagine it would have to be in MI. Not sure if that limited presence at National would qualify them to be added on here or not.
Weeks is a member of the Audacious Caucus but his politics are firmly left-libertarian/old-school anarchist.
