She likely wishes she were so confident. Her entire campaign has been in desperation mode for months. Republican though the 5th may be, she lacks the deep loyalty that would otherwise carry the day because she comes off as a cold fish.

If the Democrats win the House with 230 seats to the Republicans 205 seats, that makes it a LEAN prediction on this site (more than 4%)

If you think the Democrats will win 226 to the Repbulicans 209 thats makes is a SLIGHT prediction.

Upping my prediction to Lean since i think the Democrats will win in the 230 range.

Fuss over chicken feed.

U.S. House = Ineffectual, inconsequent, insignificant. America's vox nihili chamber.

A two-year long exhibition from media larks, party hacks and partisans hungry to one-up the other guy - all for the prize of empty wooden horse.

A display of panem et circenses for the ignorami, which (thankfully) ends this week.

People tend to keep their ideology as they get older - this pattern will make the electorate about 1.6 points more Democratic every 2 years.

You can look at data going back to 1994 and it shows that there's not much change in how liberal or conservative each generation is over time. Each generation is less conservative / more liberal than the one before it, however, which is why the trend in favor of Democrats will continue. [Link]
