Oh yeah I forgot this was Pre-Racism. I remember watching a Wallace documentary, and TBH I don't know if it makes me view him more or less favorably.

It's like "I was never REALLY racist", but you did use racism to push for political power and literally let the Klan run rampant in your state killing many of your citizens.
