Description |
Some modern counties did not exist yet during this election. One county that is now defunct was Pembina in northwest Minnesota. Pembina was comprised of all of present day Kittson, Roseau, and Marshall counties along with portions of Beltrami and Lake of the Woods counties. More information about the county boundaries during this time see Map Guide to the U.S. Federal Censuses, 1790-1920 by William Thorndale and William Dollarhide.
Please note that Pembina county voted for 31-0 for Pillsbury.
