Description On September 24, 2008, NDP candidate Julian West dropped out of the race after the revelation and admission that he removed his clothing and went swimming before a group of minors at a camp in 1996. He denied any wrongdoing. As the filing deadline has passed, West will remain on the ballot, but will not campaign.
