The election was held in two rounds. The first rounds were primaries held for the Democratic, Republican, and "Other" nominees for nutjob of the year. The vote totals below are from each of those categories. In the second round, Cynthia McKinney won 18 votes to Vernon Robinson's 11 and Stan Jones' 1.
