After several false starts, Ontario's Conservatives launched a highly anticipated provincial election, sending voters to the polls Oct. 2 as they vie for a third-straight mandate after eight years of majority rule.
Polling indicates voter preference only. Premier is NOT directly elected, but is rather elected by his party winning a majority of the seats in the Legislative Assembly.
