Description Former Democrat Matt Ahearn is running for re-election as a Green while Assemblywoman Rose Heck is running for State Senate, creating what is effectively two open seat opportunities in the definitive swing district in the state.

Republicans Trawinski and Tedesco are hoping to cash in on Ahearn's third party bid as the former Democrat may split the left-leaning vote with Gordon and Christiansen.
