| Description |
Because of irregularities in the Democratic runoff in August, there were questions as to whether Horacena Tate was the legitimate Democratic nominee. The general election vote was held as scheduled in November, however, the results were sealed until a revote of the Democratic runoff was held on December 1 (See [Link] ).
