Description |
ESHB (Engrossed Substitute House Bill) 2661 would add ‘sexual orientation’ to the state’s law against discrimination in employment, housing, credit, insurance and certain contracts. ‘Sexual orientation’ includes heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality and gender expression, identity, appearance and behavior. Should this bill be: Approved or rejected?
The backers of this referendum failed to collect enough signatures to acquire ballot access. They claim to have collected approximately 105,000 signatures (without any having been checked for eligibility requirements) when over 112,000 registered voter signatures were required.
