Prohibition Nomination
The Prohibition state convention nominated Nelson on 8/4/1892.
Populist Nomination
The Populist state convention on 8/16/1892 nominated Thomas B. Long of Buncombe County. Long withdrew, and the Populist state executive committee met on 10/17 and nominated Butler.
Republican Nomination
The Republican state convention on 9/4 unanimously nominated Grant.
