Description The 16th Socialist Labor Party National Convention assembled in the Henry Hudson Hotel in NYC. It was attended by 20 delegates from 16 states. The chairman of the convention was a man named "Nat Karp." Eric Hass, the editor of the "Weekly People," was nominated unanimously for President on the first ballot, and Stephen Emery, a subway train dispatcher, was nominated for VP.
