The 16th Socialist Labor Party National Convention assembled in the Henry Hudson Hotel in NYC. It was attended by 20 delegates from 16 states. The chairman of the convention was a man named "Nat Karp." Eric Hass, the editor of the "Weekly People," was nominated unanimously for President on the first ballot, and Stephen Emery, a subway train dispatcher, was nominated for VP.
