Vienna-based center-left, Turkish minority-interests party launched and led by Hakan Gördü, who was deputy chairman of the Union of European-Turkish Democrats until resigning after controversial statements related to a 2016 coup attempt in Turkey. Party moved to condemn militancy by Turkish and Kurd residents in Austria as a counterweight to accusations of its leader's involvement in Turkey's coup and began to stress its independence from domestic Turkish affairs [Soziales Österreich der Zukunft (SÖZ)].
