| Description | Result of a merger in 2012 of the Rally of the Guinean People (RPG) and 43 other parties. Merger was sought by President Alpha Condé ahead of the September 2013 parliamentary elections. The RPG won a plurality of
seats in the legislature (53 out of 114) that year, which, along with allies in its larger “Arc en Ciel” (Rainbow) coalition, had enabled it to lead a majority block of some 60 seats. The merged party enhanced its position further after the March 22, 2020 legislative election, clinching 79 out of 113 seats. New merged party effectively subsumes the Rassemblement du peuple de Guinée (RPG) established in 1992.
