| Description | Center-right, opposition party formed by merger of the public movement "Lelo", the Development (Building) Movement and the New Rightists. Party is led by JSC TBC Bank founder Mamuka Khazaradze. Party was formed in response to police actions quelling anti-Russia riots which took place on June 20-21, 2019 in front of the nation's Parliament, and solicited rioters to join the new party to rally against the government. Party picked up four seats after parliamentary elections held on October 31, 2020 [Lelo Sakartvelostvis (LS or LELO; TRY);translates as "A Try for Georgia"; ლელო საქართველოსთვის]. |
