Small, self-described center-right party with zero representation nationally and locally founded by former Communist general and director of the Foreign Intelligence Service from 1992 to 1997, Ioan Talpeș. Party appears to be an opportunist vehicle for Talpeș, who repeats publicly his intention to use it "in collaboration with all political parties, but especially with those with a Christian-democratic orientation, such as PD and PLD" [Uniunea Populară Social Creștină (UPSC)].
