Right-of-center, Belarus-nationalist, pro democratization party founded by Russia critic Zianon Pazniak. Constant harassment and arrests by the NKVD and charges by the Belarus Prosecutor's Office forced Pazniak into exile. Pazniak's criticism of Russia for its attempts to eradicate the Belarus national culture and things "Byelorussian" brought upon him charges of "incitement to ethnic hatred against Russian people" by the Belarus authorities in 1997. Party was banned by the Belarus Supreme Court on July 20, 2023 [Kanservatyŭna-Chryścijanskaja Partyja BNF(CCP–BPF); Кансэрватыўна-Хрысьціянская Партыя - БНФ (KChP–BNF), aka, Christian Conservative Party of the BPF].
