Description | Center-left agrarian-interests alliance turned party formerly known as Más Madrid until February 12, 2021. Party was founded by the former spokesman of Podemos in the Congress of Deputies, Íñigo Errejón. Alliance tried to transform itself from a city-focused operation to one more appealing to the country-side. Alliance used populist cant by condemning globalized corporations and bureaucracies where or when they hurt local farming communities. Coalition at first consisted of five parties; Más País, Greens Equo, Compromís, Aragonese Union and the Andalusian People's Initiative. Party decided to roll up all of its territorial organizations, except its Más Madrid, into Movimiento Sumar in 2024, effectively dissolving itself. |
