DescriptionCenter-right, Bosniak minority-interests party founded by former Deputy Prime Minister (until December 4, 2020) Rafet Husović, who also led the party until replaced by Ervin Ibrahimović on June 13, 2021. Party was the result of a merger of four Bosniak parties eager to present a united front during a time of peril for Bosniaks living in Sandžak (a former Ottoman-era district shared by Serbia and Montenegro) after Montenegro declared independence from Serbia in 2006. The four parties were the Bosniak Democratic Alternative (BDA), the International Democratic Union (IDU), the Party of National Equality (SNR) and the Bosniak-Muslim Alliance (BMS). Party holds three seats in Parliament [Bošnjačka stranka (BS)].
