| Description | Coalition of four center-right parties formed to contest elections held in 2017 and 2021. Coalition consists of the Independent Democratic Union (UDI), the National Renewal (RN), the Political Evolution (Evópoli) and the Independent Democratic Regionalist Party (PRI). Coalition was temporarily renamed "Vamos por Chile" for the Constitutional Convention held between May 15-16, 2021 in deference to a new member, the Republican Party (PLR), reverting back after the Convention when the PLR opted to go its own way. Coalition held a presidential primary on July 18, 2021, which saw Sebastian Sichel the victor and its presidential candidate for the general on November 21, 2021. Coalition was renamed the Chile Podemos Más (or Chile Podemos +; Chile Can Do More) by the presidents of the four parties on August 20, 2021, with Sebastián Sichel replacing Sebastián Piñera (Chile's president since March 11, 2018) as its head. Coalition is one of three contesting for seats on the Constitutional Council in an election scheduled to be held on May 7, 2023. Coalition holds 53 seats in the Chamber of Deputies [translated as Safe Chile]. |
