DescriptionLeft-wing Marxist-Trotsyist party begun as a coalition led and formed by the Communist Party of Bolivia (Marxist-Leninist) (PCB (ML)), which included the Revolutionary Party of the Nationalist Left (PRIN), the Revolutionary Party of the Workers of Bolivia (PRTB), the POR-Combate party, the POR Communist Vanguard (the last two were Trotskyist groups) and an independent group led by Manuel Morales Dávila. Party is co-chaired by 2019 and 2020 presidential candidate Carlos Mesa and former minister Gustavo Pedraza. Mesa was the party's declared presidential candidate in 2019 and 2020. Party president is Édgar Guzmán Jáuregui. Party holds three seats in the Chamber of Deputies [Frente Revolucionario de Izquierda (FRI)].
