Two-party parliamentary group turned coalition aligned with Congo-Kinshasa's President Félix Tshisekedi. Coalition was led by Etienne Tshisekedi's (Félix's father and former Prime Minister) Union for Democracy and Social Progress (UDPS) and was joined by the Union for the Congolese Nation (UNC). Coalition was formed ahead of presidential and legislative elections held on December 18, 2018. Coalition managed to pick up 47 seats in the Assembly and three in the Senate. Though his coalition was in last place, Félix Tshisekedi wound up President of the PRC on May 20, 2019 by special arrangement with former President Joseph Kabila and his predominant Common Front for the Congo.
