Coalition at one time predominant in Congo-Kinshasa, holding a majority in the National Assembly and the Senate from 2018 until April 2021 after a fallout between the FCC and Felix Tshisekedi's Heading for Change (CACH). Alliance was closely linked to the former president of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2001 to 2019, Joseph Kabila. Coalition was led by Kabila's People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy (PPRD) and featured within it the Alliance of Democratic Forces of Congo and Allies (AFDC-A), the Alternative Action for Wellbeing and Change (AAB) and the Alliance of Actors for Good Governance of Congo (AABC). Coalition was considered a successor to Kabila's Alliance for the Presidential Majority, which lasted between 2006 to 2018. Coalition President remains Joseph Kabila, who has been Senator for Life since March 15, 2019 and Congo-Kinshasa's Honorary President [Front Commun pour le Congo (FCC); also called the Kabila Coalition].
