Coalition of center-right parties and individuals involved in paramilitary warfare against Serbia launched by KLA Commander and Kosovo's third Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, with the support of former Communist leader Mahmut Bakalli. Coalition re-formed itself in 2001 as an 'independent' non-ideological political party after two coalition partners departed and poor election results in 2001, becoming more 'Europeanist' and less militant. Party held the prime-ministership from March 2004 to March 2008 and finds its greatest support in the Dukagjini Plain, an ethnographic province in Northern Albania. Party has been chaired by Ramush Haradinaj since inception. [Aleanca për Ardhmërinë e Kosovës (AAK)].
