Description | Center-right Christian- evangelist party co-founded by Peter Kenilorea (died on February 24, 2016), the Solomon Islands first Prime Minister (from 1978–1981, and from 1984–1986). Kenilorea was also the co-founder of the Solomon Islands Christian Association, which was a powerful evangelist organization. Party leadership was assumed by his son, MP Peter Kenilorea Jr. Party is opposed to the establishment of relations with the People's Republic of China and is a critic of Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare's administration. |
