DescriptionCenter-right party seeking to blend what it finds in common between democratic Christian and Muslim religious values as public policy. Party sees the Islamic notions of shura, maslaha and ʿadl (justice), and the Christian Catholic and Protestant movements of neo-scholasticism and the Social Gospel, as compatible with democracy and each other. Party's support comes from the Mindanao provinces. Party began as the Lakas–Kampi–CMD until 2012. Party is chaired by actor and Senator Bong Revilla. Party has been in alliance with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte's Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) since 2019 [Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD); Lakas–Demokratang Kristiyano at Muslim; LAKAS means 'strength'].
