DescriptionFar left party which lost its legal status on July 3, 2014 for mismanagement, inactivity and low support (party obtained a historically low, less than 4% of the votes in two consecutive elections).

Party was led by Maria Paula Romo, who is Ecuador's Minister of Government since September 3 2018.

Party was reborn and entered the government of Lenín Moreno in 2018, only to fall back again to less than 1% support.

Party closed its doors on August 24, 2020 and re-emerged with a new name "The Construye Movement (MC25)" or "El Movimiento Construye (MC25)" under the leadership of Juan Fernando Velasco and Ana María Pesantes [Link]
