DescriptionConservative party and one of the oldest in the country still in force. Party was co-founded by two future presidents of Ecuador, Camilo Ponce Enríquez (1956-1960) and Sixto Durán Ballén (1992-1996). Party is currently led by the former Mayor of Guayaquil and oft-time presidential candidate Jaime Nebot. Its president is Alfredo Serrano [Partido Social Cristiano (PSC)].
