Pro-Monarchy party created upon the forced merger of the Al Ahd, the National Democratic Party (PND), the Alliance of Liberties, the Environment and Development Party and the Civic Initiative for Development by alleged subterfuge and extrajudicial means directed by King Mohammed VI. The executives of each merged party were ousted and lost immediate control, some reconstituting their former parties under different names. Party became the nation's second largest after parliamentary elections held in 2016, taking 102 out of 395 seats. PAM is lead by the senior advisor for Mohammed VI, Fouad Ali El Himma [Parti de l'Authenticité et de la Modernité, PAM].
