| Description | Centrist party founded by dissidents from the Movement for the Liberation of Sao Tome and Principe - Social Democratic Party (MSLTP-PSD). Party began as the Reflection Group, changing its name to the Democratic Convergence Party- Reflection Group in 1991, picking up a majority of seats (33) that year in parliament, and the prime-ministership under Daniel Daio. Party joined in a government coalition in 2018. Party President is Danilson Cotu. The PCD candidate for São Toméan President in 2021 was Delfim Neves, the current president of the National Assembly.
